ACES  are pleased to announce that they have booked legendary performer Rosemary Squires to entertain at a charity event at Welshpool Town Hall on Friday 12th October 2012 2pm, doors open 1.30pm.

Supported by the Welsh Arts Council's Night Out scheme monies raised will go towards providing a New Year Party for the town's Senior Citizens.

Show business legend, Rosemary Squires MBE, whose record breaking ‘Fairy Liquid’ jingle crowned her ‘Queen of the Jingles’, but better known as ‘Britain’s Doris Day’, is joined by international celebrity Brian Dee and his Music for an anniversary celebration of Sixty Years of Song. 
Sharing memories of unforgettable hits and timeless icons, many with whom Rosemary worked, including Roy Castle, Russ Conway, Alma Cogan, Petula Clark, Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Matt Monro and others.
A shameless wallow through great Music, great Stars and great Talent, and, linked by personal and amusing anecdotes, also great fun.  A celebrity family show by those who were there – plus a little help from the audience!   
Rosemary has done it all – recording, radio, television, cabaret and concert hall on both sides of the Atlantic. She continues to enjoy top billing at major venues throughout the UK,
Brian, an international name in his own right, remembered with his Trio on BBC Radio 2 and with the Ted Heath Band, has accompanied such stellar performers as Dudley Moore, Peter Cook, Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby and Peggy Lee.
